Privacy Policy

Prop Terminal (www.thepropterminal.com) is an independent comparison site for futures prop trading firms. We publish source-checked data, comparisons, and reviews to help you choose a firm.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers only the data practices we actually have. If you have any questions, you can reach us at contact.fredent@gmail.com.

We keep data collection to a minimum:

- We do not sell your personal data — ever.

- We do not build advertising profiles about you.

- Our analytics are cookieless and aggregate only — we cannot identify you from them.

- The only personal data we directly collect from you is your email address, and only if you choose to subscribe to our free Deal Alerts newsletter.

- We never see or store your card or payment details — Stripe handles all payments.

The sections below explain each of these in more detail.

We run a free email newsletter called Deal Alerts. If you sign up, we collect your email address so we can send you deals, offers, and updates about prop trading firms.

Our newsletter is operated through Kit (kit.com), an email marketing platform. When you subscribe, your email address is stored and processed by Kit on our behalf so we can manage the subscriber list and send the emails. Kit may also record standard email engagement information, such as whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.

We use your email address only to send the newsletter and related updates. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with prop firms or other third parties for their own marketing.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email. Once you unsubscribe, we stop sending you emails. If you would like your email address removed entirely, contact us at contact.fredent@gmail.com and we will delete it.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used — for example, which pages are popular and roughly how much traffic we get.

This analytics is privacy-friendly by design. It is cookieless (it does not store cookies on your device for tracking), it does not follow you across websites, and it does not build a personal profile of you. The data we see is aggregate only — we cannot use it to identify you as an individual.

Prop Terminal offers an optional Pro subscription for $14/month. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor.

When you subscribe, you enter your card details directly with Stripe. We never see, handle, or store your full card number or other sensitive payment details. Stripe processes the payment and provides us only with what we need to manage your subscription (for example, confirmation that a payment succeeded).

Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy and security standards. We encourage you to review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com for details on how it processes card data.

Prop Terminal is independent and supports itself partly through affiliate and referral links. When you click a link to a prop firm and sign up or buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked with rel="sponsored".

We also offer paid "Featured" placements, which are always clearly labelled. Paid placements never change the underlying data, comparisons, or reviews, and we do not invent or inflate star ratings — our data is source-checked.

When you click an affiliate or referral link, you leave our site and the destination firm collects information according to its own privacy policy. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the data practices of those third-party sites.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

The only parties that handle data on our behalf are the service providers we use to run the site:

- Kit (kit.com) — stores and sends our newsletter to subscribers.

- Stripe — processes Pro subscription payments.

- Vercel — hosts the website and provides our cookieless, aggregate analytics.

Each of these processes data only as needed to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so (for example, in response to a valid legal request).

You are in control of the limited data we hold:

- Unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime using the link in any email.

- Request deletion of your email address or any other personal data we hold by emailing contact.fredent@gmail.com.

- Ask what we hold about you — contact us and we will respond.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data under local law. To exercise any of these, just get in touch at the email above.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new service or change how something works. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
