Welcome to Prop Terminal (the "Site"), an independent comparison site for futures proprietary trading firms ("prop firms"), available at https://www.thepropterminal.com.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Prop Terminal covering your use of the Site, including the free pages, the optional "Pro" subscription, and the free "Deal Alerts" email newsletter.

By visiting, browsing, subscribing, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We have written these Terms in plain English on purpose. They are a general template and not legal advice — see the note at the end.

Everything on Prop Terminal is for general information and educational purposes only.

Nothing on the Site is — and nothing on the Site should be treated as — financial, investment, trading, tax, accounting, or legal advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or sign up for any product, account, or service.

We are not a broker, a financial adviser, a prop firm, or a regulated financial entity. We do not know your personal circumstances, goals, or risk tolerance, and nothing here is tailored to you.

Trading futures and using prop-firm evaluation accounts involves substantial risk, including the risk of losing the fees you pay. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Before acting on anything you read here, do your own research and, where appropriate, speak to a qualified, licensed professional.

We work hard to keep our data source-checked and up to date, and our reviews reflect a genuine, independent assessment. But prop firms change their rules, prices, drawdown limits, profit splits, payout terms, and promotions frequently and without notice.

Because of this, the information on the Site may be out of date, incomplete, or contain errors at the moment you read it.

We make no guarantee that any figure, rule, price, or description on the Site is accurate, current, or complete. The Site is provided for reference only.

Before you sign up for, pay for, or rely on anything about a prop firm, you must confirm the details directly on that firm's official website and terms. The firm's own current terms always take priority over anything shown here.

A note on ratings: any star ratings, scores, or summaries on the Site reflect our own independent, source-checked assessment. We do not invent, fabricate, or sell ratings, and paid placements never change a firm's rating, review, or underlying data.

We believe in being transparent about how the Site is funded. Prop Terminal makes money in three ways:

(a) Affiliate / referral links. Some outbound links to prop firms are affiliate or referral links, marked with rel="sponsored". If you click one and then sign up or buy, we may earn a commission or referral fee — at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay.

(b) Paid "Featured" placements. Firms can pay to be "Featured" on the Site. Featured placements are always clearly labelled as such. Paying for a Featured placement does not buy a better review, a higher rating, or any change to the underlying data — our reviews and data stay independent.

(c) Pro subscription. We offer an optional paid "Pro" subscription (see Section 5).

Affiliate commissions and Featured placements help keep the core comparison content free. They do not influence our editorial judgement, and we disclose them so you can weigh them for yourself. We are not responsible for the products, services, accounts, offers, or conduct of any prop firm we link to or feature.

Prop Terminal offers an optional "Pro" subscription for $14 per month. Pro gives you access to additional features and content as described on the Site at the time you subscribe. Features may change over time.

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. When you subscribe, you provide your payment details directly to Stripe and agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. Prop Terminal never sees, handles, or stores your full card number — that information stays with Stripe.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, the subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel, and the price shown is exclusive of any taxes that may apply.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are generally non-refundable. If something goes wrong with a payment, contact us (Section 11) and we'll try to help.

We run a free, optional email newsletter called "Deal Alerts." If you sign up, we'll send you occasional emails about prop-firm deals, updates, and Site news.

Email signups are collected and the newsletter is delivered through Kit (kit.com), a third-party email service. By subscribing you agree to your email being processed by Kit for this purpose.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Like the rest of the Site, the newsletter is informational only and is not financial advice.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that reports aggregate traffic only. It does not build personal profiles of you or track you across other websites.

The Site is hosted on Vercel, and payments and the newsletter rely on Stripe and Kit respectively, as described above. These providers process limited data needed to run those services under their own terms and privacy policies.

The content on Prop Terminal — including the text, reviews, data compilations, comparisons, guides, layout, design, logos, and branding — belongs to Prop Terminal or is used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without our prior written permission, except for normal browser caching and brief quotation with clear attribution and a link back.

Third-party names, logos, and trademarks (including those of the prop firms) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. Their appearance on the Site does not imply any endorsement of, affiliation with, or partnership with us beyond any relationship we disclose.

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including prop firms and our service providers. We do not control and are not responsible for those sites, their content, products, accounts, offers, terms, or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk, and their terms apply once you leave our Site.

The Site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is accurate, current, or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prop Terminal and anyone associated with it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, fees paid to prop firms, lost data, or lost opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, your reliance on any information here, or your dealings with any prop firm or other third party — even if we have been advised such damages were possible.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us, if any, in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

You agree that you use the Site, sign up with any prop firm, and make any trading decisions entirely at your own risk.

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site after that means you accept the updated Terms. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that location for any dispute.
