How the evaluation works

Apex runs a single-phase evaluation: hit the profit target without breaching the EOD trailing drawdown and you advance to a funded Performance Account. There are no resets on 4.0 accounts — fail or expire means purchasing a new evaluation. Apex runs heavy promotional sales most months (70–90% off), which keeps the cost-per-attempt among the lowest available when timed correctly.

Drawdown model

4.0 accounts use EOD trailing drawdown that updates once at session close. The drawdown locks permanently once it reaches the starting balance plus a set buffer, giving you a stable floor once you've built enough profit cushion. The EOD model means intraday swings don't affect the floor — only the closing balance counts.

Scaling across accounts

Apex allows up to 20 copy-traded funded accounts simultaneously — the highest account cap in the industry. This is the firm's clearest structural advantage for traders who have a proven, repeatable strategy and want to scale capital across multiple concurrent accounts.

Profit split and payouts

Apex operates a 90/10 profit split. Each payout requires compliance with the consistency rule and account balance above the safety net. There is a lifetime payout cap per Performance Account. Verify the exact split structure, consistency rule percentage, and payout requirements on the official site — these details changed with the 4.0 rebuild.
